More than 300 young leaders all over the world were united in Novy Sacz, Poland for the 12th year


September 5-7, in Novy Sacz, Poland were held The 12th Economic Forum of Young Leaders. This year more than 300 participants from 42 countries took part in this event. They were from the governmental and non governmental sectors, youth organizations, business companies, entrepreneurs, volunteers, students and active citizens. In the programme of the forum there were workshops, sessions, debates, role plays, panel discussions with famous political leaders, field visit to the 27th Economic Forum in Krynica-Zdroj.

Armenia has had eight participants, including International Secretary of Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia (FYCA) Diana Yeghiazaryan and Revisor of FYCA Harutyun Tsatryan. In this famous youth forum, which was organized 12 years in a row, FYCA was presented for the 1st time. Within the framework of the forum, there were held several workshops and short trainings on entrepreneurship, leadership, problems related with them, importance of fundrising, the future of the European Union and further developments in Europe.

Participants had an opportunity to meet with the President of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov and Prime Minister of Poland Beata Szydlo. Two European political actors mainly discussed the idea of Secure Europe and the problems that faces European Union. The speakers highlighted the key role of young leaders on the way to solving problems.

The last day of the forum was held in Krynica-Zdroj, which for the 27th time hosted the Economic Forum, which is of particular importance to Poland. Different thematic discussions parallely were dedicated to the future of EU Eastern Partnership policy, combating extremism and violence, preventing the spread of political populism, contemporary issues facing the media, the vision of future of Europe and the characteristics of shaping a new concept.
