"Act.ival for Future" is completed!

Have you already heard about "Act.ival for Future"?😊

From the 3rd to 6th of May 2019, the "Act.ival for Future" brought together more than 100 youngsters aged 16 to 23 from all over Europe for one weekend in the Hanseatic city Lübeck.

Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia was pleased to be present in this international event, as well! The organization was represented by Lucy Petrosyan, FYCA Executive Staff member.

The aim of the project was to bring together a diverse group of young people in the Hanseatic city of Lübeck – a symbolic haven towards Europe – ready to exchange ideas, inspire each other and act on issues that matter to youth!

The participants of the project discovered new perspectives to empower changes in their communities, strengthened their competencies, gained intercultural experiences and had a lot of fun.

The programme consisted of innovative workshops, stimulating debates, interactive performances, simulations and outdoor activities around four key topics:

  • Power and the role of civil society

  • Digital tools for doing good

  • There is no planet B!

  • Inequality and discrimination? Not with us!

By building a platform for young people from all over Europe, the project encouraged to create an atmosphere of change.

The Organizers of the event: SAME - Solidarity Action Day Movement in Europe - is an umbrella organization that brings together several youth organizations carrying out an annual Solidarity Action Day! SAME believes in the power of young people and encourages them to become a driver of societal change in their local and global community.

SHL– Schüler Helfen Leben - is the biggest relief organization led by young people in Germany and one of the founding members of SAME. Once a year Schüler Helfen Leben organizes the Solidarity Action Day in Germany.
