Vardavar International Festival as the winner of Eventiada IPRA Golden World Awards 2019!


Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia(FYCA) is excited to announce its remarkable win at the largest communications award in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Eventiada IPRA Golden World Awards!

The Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia, being the largest youth organization in the country and committed to its mission for 20 years, highlights the importance of national identity and activities fostering recognition among youth.

During the previous 6 years, FYCA has touched upon the traditions of the Vardavar holiday, organized Vardavar International Youth Festival in collaboration with local and international organizations, RA Ministry of Culture, Kotayk Regional Administration, “Service for the Protection of Historical Environment and Cultural Museum-Reservations” State Non Commercial Organization and a number of other institutions.

The purpose of the festival was to broaden the scope of the Vardavar holiday, rituals, Armenian national songs and dances, and present to the whole world. In addition, promoting the prosperity of the tourism industry, ensuring sustainable growth of Armenia, protection of national values ​​among youth, promotion of intangible cultural heritage make the base of the festival.

Vardavar International Festival has been unveiled as the BEST Event of the Year from Eastern Europe at the 9th Eventiada IPRA GWA Gala, 12 November 2019 in Moscow, Russia!

In addition, the other 2 awards have been nominated to the event, titled "Game of Philosophers" organized by Lomonosov Moscow State University (Moscow, Russia)( 2nd place) and to "HSE RUN" event organized by HSE University (Moscow, Russia)( 3rd place)

The Festival has been selected by an international jury for excellence in communications, creativity and across the border innovative approach.

This year the competition covered 13 countries - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Croatia and Estonia.

FYCA Board is delighted to congratulate to the whole project team of Vardavar International Festival 2019 and all partner organizations and public structures from Armenia and abroad!

Eventiada IPRA GWA is the largest communications award in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, the regional partner of the IPRA GWA Award, a global competition held since 1990 by the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), one of the oldest industry associations, that has been setting up standards for public relations since 1955.
