Achieving JOY

VARDAVAR
FEST

Vardavar is an ancient Armenian festival - pre-Christian in origin, later adopted into the Armenian Apostolic calendar - celebrated 98 days after Easter. Traditionally, people drench each other with water, symbolizing purification, gratitude for the harvest season, and the joy of summer. It is one of the most universally beloved holidays in Armenian culture, participated in by people of all ages.
