MIJARC Europe, a partner organization of the Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia (FYCA), organized "Let's go online" training course on 21-25 August, in Belgium. Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia was represented by its Executive Board members: Seda Mkrtchyan, Ani Poghosyan, Mariam Grigoryan and Nick Grigoryan.
The training course focused on active youth participation in decision making processes. During the project youngsters from Armenia, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands and Malta presented the level of youth participation in decision-making processes according to the data of their own countries. In addition, the participants got acquainted with different promotional methods and tools concerning active youth participation, and also visited the Head Office of the European Youth Forum.
During the course, several meetings with field-experts have been held. According to our members, one of the most interesting meetings was the one with the representative of Data Protection Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belgium. The meeting included Q&A between the participants and the representative, and also information regarding new digital tools for data protection.
All participants returned their countries with great expectations and enthusiasm, and also, with the action plans for the future activities to be implemented in their local communities.
