International Seminar “Youth Leader Path”

This activity is an international seminar on capacity building of youth and youth organisations.

✅ The aim of the seminar

The aim is to increase the capacity of MIJARC Europe youth workers to work with young people, to integrate them into their organisations and to create strategies for engaging young people in the community using a rights-based approach. The main output of the Seminar is minimum 5 concrete project proposals for improving the access to rights of young people, using a rights-based approach.

✅ Participant's Profile:

♦ Young people aged 18 to 30 years old (a gender-balanced group), coming from rural areas;

♦ active in one of the member organisations of MIJARC Europe

♦ able to communicate in English and available for the full length of the event;

♦ who are either paid or unpaid youth or social workers, working directly with young people;

♦ motivation and capacity to develop projects for and with young people on access to social rights;

♦ is eager to organize dissemination activities after the seminar

♦ youth with economic/social/cultural obstacles will have a priority in the selection process

✅ Costs

♦ accommodation, meals, local travel, materials and any other costs related to the activity will be covered by MIJARC Europe

♦ travel costs will be fully reimbursed if the costs of your international travel does not exceed the indicated amount per participant
